Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online is the name of the emulator, released by Nintendo, that allows people with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to play select Nintendo Entertainment System games on the Nintendo Switch.
Features
Some games have online multiplayer support. The games marketed as SP come with a savestate that is automatically loaded when the game starts that boost the stats of the player or allow all levels to be selected from the start.
Development
It is based on the emulator developed by Nintendo European Research & Development for the NES Classic Edition.
