James Bond, code number 007, is a fictional British Secret Service agent.

He is a character in a multimedia series consisting of books, comics, films, magazines, music, television shows, and video games.

James Bond was created by the English writer Ian Fleming in the Casino Royale novel, which was published on April 13, 1953.
