Atari ST is a line of computers.
History
The Atari ST was the successor of the Atari 8-bit line of computers.
It was designed by Atari Corporation, which was the company that Jack Tramiel bought when he left Commodore International.
As such, the Atari ST was a direct competitor of the Amiga.
Release
It was sold from June 1985 to 1993.
