Ryo Hazuki (芭月涼, Hazuki Ryō) is a character that is part of a multimedia series consisting of video games, a film, comics, and music.
Ryo Hazuki is a playable character in the Shenmue series, in the Sega All-Stars racing games, and in Project X Zone 2.
Fictional character biography
Ryo Hazuki saw his father die in front of his eyes at the hands of a Chinese man named Lan Di, when he was only 17.
Vowing revenge, Ryo searches for clues in his hometown of Yokosuka, Japan.
Ryo discovers that Lan Di is a high-ranking member of a Chinese cartel known as the Chi You Men.
Lan Di took the dragon mirror, which Ryo's father had in his possession, not knowing that he also had its twin, the phoenix mirror.
Ryo takes the phoenix mirror with him to Hong Kong, following Lan Di after learning that he had left Japan.
Ryo searches for clues to Lan Di's whereabouts in Hong Kong, Kowloon, and Guilin.
In Guilin, he discovers the house of the man who had built the mirrors, and searches for his whereabouts in Bailu Village and Niowu.
In Niowu, he discovers that Lan Di is in a fortified castle. Going to the castle, Ryo finally fights Lan Di, only to discover that he is still not capable enough of a fighter to defeat him.
