Dr. Mario is a doctor version of Mario. He mainly appears in a series of puzzle video games by Nintendo. These games are spun-off from the Super Mario series.
Character biography
Mario is a doctor that drops pills into a bottle to eliminate viruses.
Four combinations of the same color of viruses and pills will eliminate the viruses.
Each pill has two parts, sometimes with the same color and other times with different colors.

Luigi first became a doctor in Dr. Luigi on Wii U in 2013, wherein the pills that are dropped in his jar sometimes contained an 'L' shape, adding to the complexity.
