Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection is an upcoming video game compilation.

It consists of eleven games based on the Mortal Kombat fighting game franchise.

Development

The initial edition of Mortal Kombat was developed by a Midway Games team led by Ed Boon and John Tobias.

The other games in the compilation were developed by Midway Games, Avalanche Software, Probe Software, Sculptured Software, Software Creations, and Virtucraft.

The emulation is handled by Digital Eclipse.

Warner Bros. Games, the intellectual property owners of Mortal Kombat, licensed the rights to Digital Eclipse for this compilation.

Included platforms

The included video games are playable through emulation of several older platforms.

The emulated platforms include 32X, arcade, DOS, Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, Game Gear, Sega Genesis, and Super Nintendo Entertainment System.

Also included is a WaveNet network arcade version of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 that was only location tested in Chicago for a short time in 1997.
