Xuan-Yuan Sword: Mists Beyond the Mountains (軒轅劍 云和山的彼端, Xuān-Yuán Liàn Yún Hé Shān De Bǐ Duān), also known as Xuan-Yuan Sword 3: Mists Beyond the Mountains (軒轅劍參 云和山的彼端, Xuān-Yuán Liàn Cān Yún Hé Shān De Bǐ Duān), is a Taiwanese role-playing video game developed by the DOMO Team within Softstar Entertainment Research & Development Department 1. It is the third main game, and the fourth overall, in the Xuan-Yuan Sword series.
Development
Because of the reorganization of Softstar Entertainment teams, Xuan-Yuan Sword Side Story: Dance of the Maple Leaves was the first game developed by Softstar Entertainment Research & Development Department 1. However, unofficially, the team developing the Xuan-Yuan Sword series is the DOMO Team.
Releases
Xuan-Yuan Sword 3: Mists Beyond the Mountains was released in Taiwan for Windows on December 4, 1999 and on iOS in January 16, 2017.
It was released worldwide, as Xuan-Yuan Sword: Mists Beyond the Mountains, for Windows on July 26, 2023. It was then released worldwide for Nintendo Switch in North America on December 8, 2023, in Europe on December 8, 2023, and in Asia on December 4, 2024.
