Foundation

VentureVision was formed in 1982 by Robert Hesler, with Dan Oliver and Danny Abshire as co-owners.

Development

Only one game was published by VentureVision, but three were in development.

Rescue Terra I was developed by Dan Oliver, and was published in 1982.

The second VentureVision game was also developed by Oliver. However, the company was nearing closure in 1983, so Oliver traded his ownership in the company for the rights to the game, which was named Innerspace at the time.

Imagic purchased the game, Dan Oliver finished its development, and the game was published in October 1983 as Laser Gates.

The third game, Solar Defense, was being developed by Robert Weatherby, however the company closed before it was released.
