Tianyou Zhao (趙天佑, Zhào Tiānyòu) is a character that is part of a multimedia series consisting of music and video games.

He is a playable character in some games in the Like a Dragon series.

Zhao was also a non-playable character in Lost Judgment, the second game in the Like a Dragon spin-off series, Judgment.

His likeness and voice actor were used to portray Tōdō Heisuke, a historical captain of the Shinsengumi, in the 2023 Kiwami remake of Like a Dragon: Ishin! Zhao replaces Shigeki Baba, from Yakuza 5, who portrayed Heisuke in the original 2014 Japan-exclusive release of Like a Dragon: Ishin!.

Fictional character biography

Tianyou Zhao is the leader of the Yokohama Liumang, a Chinese-Japanese criminal organization operating out of Isezaki Ijincho, Yokohama.

The Yokohama Liumang is part of the Ijin Three, along with the Japanese yakuza organization the Seiryu Clan and the Geomijul, a Korean surveillance syndicate.

To uncover a conspiracy that affects everyone in Isezaki Ijincho, he teams up with Ichiban Kasuga and his friends, as well as the advisor to the Geomijul, Joon-gi Han.
