Technōs Japan
Technōs Japan Corporation was founded in Japan in December 1981 by three former employees of Data East, Kunio Taki, Takashi Hanya, and Takeo Hagiwara.
American Technōs
American Technōs Inc. was formed in 1987 in Cupertino, California, U.S.
Bankruptcy and closure
Technōs Japan declared bankruptcy and closed in 1996. American Technōs followed soon afterward.
In 2001, a holding company, Million Co., Ltd., was established to purchase the intellectual properties of Technōs.
On June 11, 2015, Arc System Works announced that they had acquired Technōs and all its intellectual properties from Million.
