Space Channel 5 (スペースチャンネル5), is a Japanese video game series.

It was originally created on December 16, 1999, by Sega Software R&D Dept. 9.

The first game was the original Space Channel 5, which was released on the Dreamcast.

The video games were developed by Sega Software R&D9, United Game Artists, and Grounding.

Characters from Space Channel 5 have also appeared in some games in the Sega All-Stars and Project X Zone series.
