Sega Arena was a chain of arcades in Japan, alongside Club Sega, Hi-Tech Sega, Hi-Tech Land Sega, Joypolis, Sega World, and Sega branded arcade locations.

The first Sega Arena location opened on March 1, 1997.

Renaming of Sega Arena locations

In December 2020, Genda purchased the majority of Sega's share of the stock in Genda Sega Entertainment.

On January 28, 2022, Genda purchased the remaining shares and renamed the company Genda GiGO Entertainment.

Beginning on March 9, 2022, and continuing in the following months, all of the Sega-branded arcades in Japan were rebranded as GiGO arcades.
