Acquisition by Gameplay.com
On February 23, 2000, Gameplay.com acquired five of the computer-related companies that were majority-owned by Computec Media including Neo Software. Gameplay.com acquired these assets for £11.8 million GBP in cash and £35.8 million GBP in shares of common stock.

Closure
On May 11, 2006, Take-Two Interactive closed Rockstar Vienna without prior notice.
Rockstar Vienna was working on Manhunt 2 when they were unexpectedly closed. Development duties for the game were transferred to Rockstar London. In the finished product, the team at Rockstar Vienna, which worked on the game from January 2004 to May 2006, was not credited for their work.
