It filed for bankruptcy and was acquired by Tradewest in 1987.
Leland Corporation
Cinematronics was renamed Leland Corporation after the co-founder of Tradewest, Leland Cook.

The company was renamed Leland Interactive Media in 1993.
Acquisition and closure
Its parent company, Tradewest, was acquired by WMS Industries in 1994, and Leland Interactive Media was closed.
