American Laser Games closed after it filed for bankruptcy in 1996.
Its former division, HeR Interactive, which was founded as Games for Her Interactive in May 1995 and was spun off into its own company in 1996, purchased the American Laser Games assets in 1999.
The development and publishing rights to the American Laser Games titles were purchased from HeR Interactive by Digital Leisure in 2000.
