8085-based arcade hardware by Nintendo used the Intel 8085 processor for Nintendo's arcade games.
The only Nintendo game using the 8085 processor, Monkey Magic, was released in 1975.
It was followed by games using 8080-based arcade hardware. The 8080-based games were developed in 1979 and 1980.
Development
It was developed concurrently with arcade games using the Simulation System from 1973 to 1978. Simulation System games were mechanical light gun games that used 35mm film for the video.
