The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was an action-adventure game by Nintendo EAD, and was the eighth game in The Legend of Zelda series.
Versions of the game
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was first released for the Nintendo 64 by Nintendo in 1998.
It was released for the GameCube bundled with Master Quest, a version of the game with different maps and enemy placement, which began development on Nintendo 64DD. This bundle, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time/Master Quest, was released in 2002.
The main game, without the Master Quest version, was re-released on GameCube, bundled with The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II, and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, in 2003.
It was released for the iQue Player in China in 2003 and for the Wii Virtual Console in 2007.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, an enhanced remake for the Nintendo 3DS, was released in 2011. This version included an enhanced remake of the Master Quest as well, which was available after the main game was completed.
The original Nintendo 64 version was then released for the Wii U Virtual Console in 2015.
