Xuan-Yuan Sword: The Scar of Sky (軒轅劍 天之痕, Xuān-Yuán Liàn Tiān Zhī Hén), also known as Xuan-Yuan Sword III Side Story: The Scar of Sky (軒轅劍參外傳 天之痕, Xuān-Yuán Liàn Cān Wài Zhuàn Tiān Zhī Hén), is a Taiwanese role-playing video game developed by the DOMO Team within Softstar Entertainment Research & Development Department 1. It is the fifth game in the Xuan-Yuan Sword series.
Development
Xuan-Yuan Sword Side Story: The Scar of Sky was developed by the DOMO Team within Softstar Entertainment Research & Development Department 1. However, the J2ME port for mobile phones was developed by Softstar Technology (Shanghai).
Releases
Xuan-Yuan Sword 3: Mists Beyond the Mountains was released on Windows in Taiwan on December 2, 2000 and in China on January 15, 2001. It was released for mobile phones in Java ME in China on September 10, 2008 and in Taiwan on May 1, 2009.
It was released worldwide, as Xuan-Yuan Sword: Mists Beyond the Mountains, for Windows via Steam on August 19, 2021, on iOS on April 8, 2014, and on Android on October 14, 2014. However, the text remained in Chinese.
