Super Mario 3D All-Stars, known in Japan as Super Mario 3D Collection (スーパーマリオ3Dコレクション), is a video game compilation.

It contains Super Mario games that were originally developed by Nintendo Entertainment Analysis & Development. The games run on the Nintendo Switch through custom Nintendo 64, GameCube, and Wii emulators.

The games included are Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy.

Name

The name is based on the 1993 Super Nintendo Entertainment System compilation titled Super Mario All-Stars, which is known in Japan as Super Mario Collection (スーパーマリオコレクション).

Development

The emulators for GameCube, as well as Wii graphics and audio, were developed by Nintendo European Research & Development.

Limited availability

As part of Nintendo's 2020 celebration of 35 years of Super Mario, Super Mario 3D All-Stars was only available to purchase until March 31, 2021.
