Game Card is the term for the media used by Nintendo in their cartridge-based video game consoles from the Nintendo DS to the present.
Prior to the Nintendo DS, Nintendo used the term Game Pak for their ROM cartridges.
The Nintendo Switch Game Card was flash storage. Prior to this, Game Cards were ROM cartridges.
