Renaming of Sega World locations
In December 2020, Genda purchased the majority of Sega's share of the stock in Genda Sega Entertainment.
On January 28, 2022, Genda purchased the remaining shares and renamed the company Genda GiGO Entertainment.
Beginning on March 9, 2022, and continuing in the following months, all of the Sega-branded arcades were rebranded as GiGO arcades.
