Policenauts was a Japan-exclusive adventure game by Konami. It was directed and designed by Hideo Kojima.
It was published by Konami for PC-9821 computers on July 29, 1994, for 3DO on September 29, 1995, for PlayStation on January 19, 1996, and for Sega Saturn on September 13, 1996.
Fan translations
On August 23, 2009, a fan translation group named JunkerHQ released an English-to-Japanese patch for the Sega Saturn version of Policenauts.
JunkerHQ followed the Saturn translation with an English-to-Japanese patch for the PlayStation version on October 6, 2016.
