Megami Tensei (女神転生, "Reincarnation of the Godess") is a Japanese multimedia series consisting of books, comics, films, novels, television series, and video games.
It premiered with the novel of the same name by Aya Nishitani in 1986.
It was spun-off into the Devil Children series, the Devil Summoner series, the Digital Devil Saga series, Jack Bros., the Last Bible series, the Majin Tensei series, and the Persona series.
Megami Tensei crossed over with the Nintendo Fire Emblem series in Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE.
