Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, known as Street Fighter II Dash and as Street Fighter II′ in Japan, was the second in a series of Street Fighter fighting video games by Capcom which were titled Street Fighter II.

History

The original arcade version of Street Fighter II: The World Warrior was released in 1991.

The game was a success, leading Capcom to release many ports and updated versions.

The first update was Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, which was first released to arcades in 1992.

Capcom released the second update, Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting, to arcades in December 1992.
