Laser Gates is a shoot 'em up video game.

Development

Laser Gates was originally developed by Dan Oliver as Innerspace at VentureVision.

Dan Oliver was one of three owners of VentureVision. As the company was nearing closure in 1983, he traded his ownership in the company for the rights to Innerspace.

Imagic purchased the game, Dan Oliver finished its development, and the game was published as Laser Gates.

Release

Imagic published Laser Gates on Atari 2600 in the United States of America in October 1983. Zellers published an unauthorized release of the game in Canada in 1983.

Activision included it in the Activision Anthology: Remixed Edition compilation for macOS and Windows in North America on October 6, 2003.
