Joypolis is a chain of amusement parks in Japan, and formerly in China, operated by CA Sega Joypolis.
Sega opened the first Joypolis location on July 20, 1994.
Acquisition by China Animation
Sega Live Creation was founded on April 1, 2015, as the Sega Sammy Holdings amusement park division.
China Animation became the majority shareholder of Sega Live Creation in 2017 by purchasing 85.1% of the shares in the company.
On January 1, 2017, the acquisition was finalized, and Sega Live Creation was renamed CA Sega Joypolis.
