SameGame is a subgenre of puzzle game.
Versions
It was originally created by Kuniaki Moribe as Chain Shot!, which was released in the Monthly ASCII magazine in November 1985.
Ken Ishihara submitted an N5200 port of Chain Shot! which was published by N5200 User Information magazine in May 1988.
Eiichiro Mawatari ported it as ChainShot to Mac OS in November 1992.
The first version that was released under the SameGame name was created by W. Yossy in December 1992 for PC-9801.
Hudson Soft released a version titled SameGame for Super Famicom on November 19, 1995.
