Sonic CD is the third 16-bit game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, and the fifth overall.
Versions
Sonic CD was originally released for the Sega CD in 1993. It was released for Windows in 1996. It was released in Sonic Mega Collection for GameCube in 2002, in Sonic Mega Collection Plus for PlayStation 2 and Xbox in 2004 and for Windows in 2006. It was then released for Android, iOS, Ouya and Xbox 360 in 2011, for Windows Phone in 2012, for Apple TV in 2016, and for Linux and macOS in 2018.
