Forrest Gump is a character that is part of an American multimedia series consisting of books, a film, music, and a video game.
Forrest Gump was created in 1986 by the novelist Winston Groom.
Fictional character biography
Forrest Gump is a man who was born mentally challenged. Despite his handicaps, he ends up going to college to play football, is drafted in the Vietnam War, competes in ping pong, and starts a shrimping business named after his friend Bubba, who died in the Vietnam War.
