Renegade
Renegade Software was formed in 1991 by Steve Kelly, Eric Matthews, Mike Montgomery, who collectively made up The Bitmap Brothers.
Warner Interactive Entertainment
After Renegade Software was acquired by Time Warner Interactive in 1995, it was renamed Warner Interactive Entertainment.
Warner Interactive Europe
In 1996, Warner Interactive Entertainment Inc. was merged into the European branch of Time Warner Interactive renamed Time Warner Interactive to form Warner Interactive Europe.
Acquisition by GT Interactive and closure
In 1996, Warner Interactive Europe was sold to GT Interactive, and ceased to exist in 1997.
