Princess Anmitsu (あんみつ姫, Anmitsu Hime) is a story centered around characters from the Princess Anmitsu series.

Outside of Japan, it was reworked into a game featuring Alex Kidd that was titled Alex Kidd: High-Tech World.

Story of Princess Anmitsu

A new cake shop opened and Princess Anmitsu wants to visit it.

Unfortunately, she doesn't know how to get there.

The map that shows its location was torn in 8 pieces.

She has to find the map pieces and sneak out of her castle before the cake shop closes.

International version

When exported to markets outside of Japan, as Sega did obtain have the rights to Princess Anmitsu in these regions, it was reworked into a game featuring Alex Kidd that was titled Alex Kidd: High-Tech World. The levels remain the same, except the art was changed to remove Princess Anmitsu content.

Story of Alex Kidd: High-Tech World

A new Sega arcade named High-Tech World opened and Alex Kidd, the prince of Radaxian, wants to visit it.

Unfortunately, he doesn't know how to get there.

Versions of the game

Princess Anmitsu was published by Sega Enterprises for Mark III in Japan on July 19, 1987.

The Alex Kidd: High-Tech World version was distributed by Tonka on Master System in North America in June 1989 and by Sega Enterprises in the United Kingdom and much of Europe in October 1989, as well as in Greece and Oceania at some point after its original release.

Alex Kidd: High-Tech World was distributed on Master System in Brazil in September 1991.

Kobian Canada distributed the PlayPal portable video game console in Canada in 2006. Alex Kidd: High-Tech World was built in to the console.
