Console Archives is a series of emulated video games that were originally released on classic video game consoles for the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 that were licensed by and released by Hamster.

It is a spin-off of Arcade Archives and ACA NEOGEO.

Releases

Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5

The first two games released under the Console Archives were the 1996 UEP Systems PlayStation snowboarding game Cool Boarders and the 1990 Tecmo Nintendo Entertainment System hack and slash platform game Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos. They were released worldwide for the Nintendo Switch on February 5, 2026 and on PlayStation 5 on February 14, 2026.

Nintendo Switch

A download code for the Nintendo Switch version of the 1986 Nintendo Entertainment System Hudson Soft action-adventure shoot 'em up game Doraemon will be included in the limited edition reprint of the walkthrough guide by Shogakukan in Japan on July 30, 2026.
