Character biography

Mario is a doctor that drops pills into a bottle to eliminate viruses.

Four combinations of the same color of viruses and pills will eliminate the viruses.

Each pill has two parts, sometimes with the same color and other times with different colors.

Other doctors in Dr. Mario games

Luigi first became a doctor in Dr. Luigi on Wii U in 2013, wherein the pills that are dropped in his jar sometimes contained an 'L' shape, adding to the complexity.

Other doctors have included Baby Daisy, Baby Luigi, Baby Mario, Baby Peach, Baby Rosalina, Bowser, Bowser Jr., Daisy, Diddy Kong, Donkey Kong, Dry Bowser, Fire Mario, Fire Peach, Kamek, Ludwig, Luma, Peach, Rosalina, Toad, Toadette, Waluigi, Wario, Wendy, and Yoshi.
