Coleco is a holding company owned by Dormitus Brands.

History

The Connecticut Leather Company was founded by Maurice Greenberg in 1932.

In 1961, they changed their name to Coleco Industries, Inc.

Coleco Industries went bankrupt, their intellectual properties were sold off, and they closed in 1988.

In 2005, River West Brands, later known as Dormitus Brands, bought the rights to the Coleco brand.

They established Coleco Holdings, a holding company for the Coleco brand, in 2014.

Products

They sold leather products and toys, as well as video games and video game consoles.
