Aleste (アレスタ), originally known as Power Strike outside Japan, was a shoot 'em up video game by Compile. It was the first game in the Aleste series.

Aleste was released in 1988 in Japan for Sega Master System.

An MSX2 version of Aleste was released in 1988 in Japan.

The MSX2 version of Aleste was released for Windows on Project EGG in 2005 and the Wii Virtual Console in 2008.

D4 Enterprise released an English version of the MSX2 for Windows on Project EGG on February 1, 2009.

In 2020, Aleste was included in the Aleste Collection, which was released in Japan for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. A special white Game Gear Micro was also released the same day with all of the games from the Aleste Collection.

Power Strike

Power Strike was released in Europe and North America for Sega Master System in 1988.

A mobile Java ME version of Power Strike was released in 2004 in Europe.

The storyline and one level from Aleste were removed from Power Strike.
