THEJOYSTICK is a joystick controller by Retro Games.
The original version was released with THEC64 Mini in Europe on March 29, 2018 and in North America on October 9, 2018. An updated version with microswitches was released with THEC64 in Europe on December 12, 2019 and in North America on November 5, 2020.
Design
THEJOYSTICK was designed to be used with the video game consoles created by Retro Games.
It was included with THEC64 Mini, THEC64, and the THEVIC20, plus it was also available separately.
The base is black and the joystick is black with a red plastic washer at the base.
It has two large red face buttons, two small red trigger buttons, and four additional buttons.
There is also a clear variation.
The version of THEJOYSTICK included with THEC64 changed the internals to use microswitches.
Both versions are identical externally.
