The Wii Nunchuk is a thumbstick controller that plugs into the Classic Controller port of a Wii Remote.
It received its name due to the similarity in appearance to the nunchaku weapon.
Alongside the thumbstick, it also includes two shoulder buttons and motion-sensing capabilities.
One Wii Nunchuk controller was included with Wii consoles and was also available to purchase separately.
It was released in North America on November 19, 2006, in Japan on December 2, 2006, in Australia on December 7, 2006, and in Europe on December 8, 2006.
