Satoru Iwata (岩田 聡, Iwata Satoru, December 6, 1959 – July 11, 2015) was the third president of HAL Laboratory and the fourth president of Nintendo.

He was also the manager of Nintendo Software Planning & Development from 2003 until Shinya Takahashi took over in 2013.
