Satoru Iwata (岩田 聡, Iwata Satoru, December 6, 1959 – July 11, 2015) was the third president of HAL Laboratory and the fourth president of Nintendo.

He was also the manager of Nintendo Software Planning Development from 2003 until Shinya Takahashi took over in 2013.
