SameGame is a puzzle game in the SameGame series for the Super Famicom that was released on November 19, 1995. It has a slotted cartridge slot for a Satellaview 8M Pack.
Mario version
Only Luck 30 SameGame Shark-Turtle Battle Mario Version (運だけ 30 SameGame 鮫亀大作戦 マリオバージョン, Undake 30 SameGame Daisakusen Mario Version) was a version of the game with characters from the Mario series.
The retail cartridge of the Mario version was released in Japan in 1995.
Add-on content
The slotted cartridge slot allowed additional content to be played in the game via a Satellaview 8M Pack. There were two read-only 8M Packs that could be purchased at retail. These two packs, both released on March 1, 1996, added different characters to the game. The first, the Character Cassette, added different Hudson-related characters. The second, Character Data: Tengai Makyo, added characters related to Tengai Makyo, which is known as Far East of Eden outside of Japan.
In addition, data could also be downloaded from Satellaview and saved on a standard 8M Pack. The Same Game Editor was available to download from April 22, 1996 to August 31, 1996. The Mario Version was available from May 5, 1996 to August 31, 1996.
