Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name (龍が如く7外伝 名を消した男, Ryū Ga Gotoku 7 Gaiden: Na wo Keshita Otoko, "Like a Dragon 7 Side Story: The Man Who Erased His Name"), is a side story to the Like a Dragon series that takes place after Yakuza 6: The Song of Life as well as before and during the events of Yakuza: Like a Dragon.

It was released on November 9, 2023.

Story

In 2016, the politician who succeeded Minoru Daidoji in the latter's faction helped the former fourth chairman of the Tojo Clan Kazuma Kiryu fake his death to protect the children who were under his care at Morning Glory Orphanage.

Because of this, Kiryu signed a pact to become a disciple of the Daidoji faction, serving as a secret agent, and going on missions under the codename Joryu.
