Puzzle Bobble is a puzzle video game. It is the first game in the Puzzle Bobble series and is a spin-off of the Bubble Bobble series.
Releases
It was developed for the arcade market for the Taito B System and published in Japan in June 1994.
It was then ported to the Neo Geo MVS and released worldwide in December 1994.
On October 27, 2022, the Mega Drive version was released by Sega on the Mega Drive Mini 2.
Hamster published the Neo Geo version as part of its ACA NEOGEO subset of its Arcade Archives line. It was released for Nintendo Switch and Xbox One worldwide and on PlayStation 4 in Japan on December 20, 2018, in Europe, in North America on PlayStation 4 on January 3, 2019, worldwide on Windows on October 25, 2019, and in Europe and Oceania on PlayStation 4 on February 27, 2020
