As noted below

Punch-Out!! is a series of boxing video games by Nintendo.

Fictional character biography

A fighter named Little Mac boxes against several fighters in order to climb the ranks of the World Video Boxing Association. He fights against boxers from various countries around the world, each representing a stereotype of their respective country of origin.

Mike Tyson's involvement

Most of the opponents are fictional, with the exception of Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!, which features the real-life boxer Mike Tyson as the final boss. After Nintendo's contract with Mike Tyson expired, they re-released the game as Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream with a re-colored and slightly redrawn final boss, the fictional Mr. Dream.
