Ripple Island (リップルアイランド) is an adventure game developed by Tokai Engineering and published by Sunsoft.

Versions

Ripple Island was originally released for Family Computer in Japan on January 23, 1988.

It was later bundled with Blaster Master in Memorial☆Series Sunsoft Vol. 4 for PlayStation in Japan on February 14, 2002.

An enhanced port for feature phones developed in DoJa was released in Japan on October 31, 2003.

The PlayStation compilation including the game was released on PSOne Classics for PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation TV, and PlayStation Vita in Japan on October 13, 2010.

The Family Computer version of Ripple Island was released on Project EGG for Windows in Japan on June 26, 2012, and on Virtual Console for Nintendo 3DS in Japan on April 10, 2013.

It was released in Japan on Windows in Sunsoft is Back! Retro Game Selection on April 17, 2024. The games in the compilation, which also included Firework Thrower Kantaro's 53 Stations of the Tōkaidō and The Wing of Madoola, were released in English for the first time on September 6, 2024. The compilation was also released on Nintendo Switch in Japan on April 18, 2024 and worldwide on September 6, 2024.

Fan translation

On August 22, 2018, a group titled LIPEMCO! Translations released an English fan translation for Ripple Island.
