City Connection is a Japanese video game series.

}}Activision is a subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, which itself is a subsidiary of the Microsoft gaming division, Microsoft Gaming.

Computer Arts, Inc.
It was created by Jaleco in 1985 with the release of the original City Connection arcade game.
Computer Arts, Inc. was founded in 1979 by Jim Levy and former Atari programmers David Crane, Larry Kaplan, Alan Miller and Bob Whitehead.

Activision, Inc.
It follows a driver named Clarice who completes tasks as she drives her small car.
Shortly after its foundation, in 1979, Computer Arts, Inc. was renamed Activision, Inc.

Mediagenic
The company City Connection, which owns the rights to the series, was named after it.
In 1988, it branched out to other forms of software than video games, and its corporate name was changed to Mediagenic.

Under the Mediagenic holding company, the company continued to produce and publish games as Activision. Following a lawsuit that resulted in Mediagenic having to pay millions in damages, an investor group consisting of Robert Kotick and Brian Kelly purchased Mediagenic in 1990.
City Connection video games
{| class="wikitable softable" style="width:100%"
Activision Blizzard
The company was renamed back to Activision in 1992. In 2008, Activision was merged with Vivendi Games to form the holding company Activision Blizzard.

In 2013, Activision Blizzard purchased most of Vivendi's shares of the Activision Blizzard stock to become an independent company. As in the Mediagenic years, it still produces and publishes games under the Activision name while under the Activision Blizzard holding company.

Microsoft acquisition
Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard in 2023.
