Minoru Arakawa was the founder and president of Nintendo of America, and was the co-founder of the Nintendo of America subsidiary, Nintendo Software Technology.

He was the executive that met with Chris and Tim Stamper to sign their company, Rare, on to develop games for the Famicom.
