Culture Brain Excel Inc. (株式会社カルチャーブレーン秀でる) is a Japanese video game developer.

History

Culture Brain Excel was founded as Nihon Game Corporation on October 5, 1980.

In 1987, it transitioned from arcade to console games and was renamed Culture Brain.

Its name was changed to Culture Brain Excel in 2016.

Culture Brain USA

A subsidiary was formed in the United States, named Culture Brain USA, in 1987.

It ceased operations in 1997, and afterward, video games developed by Culture Brain rarely were released outside of Japan.
