Timely Comics
Timely Comics was founded by the publisher Martin Goodman on January 12, 1939.
Atlas Comics

Marvel Comics
Marvel Comics was founded in August 1962 by Martin Goodman, and after writers and artists such as Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and Steve Ditko had made the Marvel superhero comics profitable, Marvel became the company's sole imprint.
