Prime Video is a video-on-demand and film rental service by Amazon.com.
It launched as Amazon Unbox in the United States on September 7, 2006. It was renamed Amazon Instant Video on Demand in 2011.
The Wii Amazon Instant Video Channel was launched in North America on January 14, 2013. The channel was removed from the Wii Shop Channel on February 28, 2018 and was discontinued on January 30, 2019.
