It was part of Mattel Electronics, whose designers were known as the Blue Sky Rangers, and focused on video games for the Atari 2600.

Closure

It was closed in 1984 when Mattel eliminated all of their non-toy divisions.

The rights to the games were acquired in 1997 by Intellivision Productions.
